Well, I'm done with high school, the reason I haven't worked on much lately. I hope Hogwarts will be done by the end of the summer.

wut iz thiz majik?! If you're reading this, I'm glad because I know I haven't exactly fostered active relationships here on le 'pages.
Wow! It's been a while, and everything in my life is a lot different! Looking back on all the good times I've had here is kinda fun. Now that I'm half way through high school, judging the amount of work I've gotten done over the past two years, I think it's safe to assume that I won't be getting much done in the next two years. I've had odd periods of about a week or so where I really sit down and work on Hogwarts, but they're few and far between. I'm thinking Hogwarts will be done next summer, or whenever time and $$$ somehow manage to exist at the same time. Anypoo, I am also busy working on film projects, which take up even more resources than LEGOs do.
However, I'm a new person now. I think I can buckle down and get back to doing what I love to do.
Joe, signing off.
P.S. After Hogwarts I'm building a new, original Vladek MOC. After that I want to do something from the Elder Scrolls (most likely Skyrim) and after THAT I was thinking of venturing into space or Star Wars.

ATTEMPTING CONTACT: Hogwarts is coming along well. done with great hall, most of the rockwork, and most of the base of the castle itself. I recently saved up and bought a mid-range DSLR so I may attempt to test it out in the form of some progress pics. I plan to take this model to the very end! So far I have managed to support the pecuniary aspects of the hobby, even with the purchase of all the new Lord of the Rings sets. :D

I scrapped Cirith Ungol! Sadface :( It would have just cost too much at the minifigure scale. I'll post the final progress pics sometime though! Now I am building Hogwarts! It's going extremely well, but with school and all I don't have much time. Also, I am doing lots of odd jobs to save up $370 to buy ALL of the new Lord of the Rings sets that come out in June! :D
Well, here's the intro to the House of Blocks!
I've now been MOCing for ~9 years! Of course I've been building with LEGOs my entire life, though! I love many of the creations I've seen, and can really appreciate seeing people as nerdy (and proud of it) as me.
My name is Joe and I'm 18. I live in Alaska, USA and I like to build MOCS, write music, make films, write and immerse myself in nature.
Some of the music I like: Emery, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rautavaara, Berlioz, etc. Most music except some modern country and pop.
My favorite books are the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, the Inheritance Cycle, the Septimus Heap books, and the Harry Potter series.
My NFL team is the Minnesota Vikings. My baseball team is the Minnesota Twins. My college B-ball team is the Syracuse Orange. I'm too into sports though.
Some video games I like to play are the Elder Scrolls, Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed and Minecraft.
I love film. My two favorite movies are the Tree of Life and Mirror. I also love the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and the Harry Potter movies. I love art films and foreign films, but I'll pretty much love any movie I watch.

(Kidding, kidding....) Also if you are feeling unusually kind or mental today, be so kind as to watch my videos and subscribe to my youtube!
