I never had much use for growing up, so I probably never will. One of the things that I loved more than anything else (besides my enormous collection of cool dinosaurs) was the enormous white box hidden under my bed. The reason for me loving it so badly was that it was filled with what at the time seemed like an unlimited supply crate of Lego's. I built everything I could think of; ranging from Batman (my Bat mobile was AWESOME yes) to Star Wars (heck, I practically invented Star Wars Lego!) I must have destroyed at least 5 pairs of jeans by crawling around on the floor on hands and knees, while scooping bricks from one pile to the next, looking for the perfect part.
As you might have guessed, my obsession with Indiana Jones was well underway at the time. I saw the movies, had some comic books and was fearlessly addicted to The Fate of Atlantis. Needless to say, I tried to replicate just about everything I could with the bricks I had, which was never quite satisfactory because, well, the minifigs didn't remotely look anything like Indy. Imagine my sheer joy when Lego began publishing Indiana Jones sets last year! I stockpiled those babies like a hamster!
I couldn't possibly care less about people finding this a childish waste of time. I find Lego building very helpful in many ways. It stimulates my creativity, calms me down, helps me concentrate. Also, it makes me as giddy as a schoolboy. Anyways, I made this MOCpage to display the Lego Indiana Jones creations I came up with over the past few months. At this moment there isn't a whole lot to see yet (blame real life time management for that), but I have a lot of cool ideas for future builds!
