Q: Do they fit a minifig?
A: Yes! All my mecha fit minifigs
Q: Do they use any modified parts?
A: No. They are all 100% official lego and not altered in any way.
Q: How long does it take you to make a mech?
A: It depends on the size, but the Freedom Gundam took about two weeks to plan, design and build.
Q: I'm interested in starting to build mecha--where do I begin?
A: First off, it depends on the size. For little mecha, try and obtain some pneumatic T-Bar joints(many sets have them now, or go to bricklink), for mid-size mecha, I recommend using ball and socket joints, which can be found in lots of sets (particularly exo-force and agents). For larger mecha, I recommend using click joints that come in lots of the exo-force sets. For super-large mecha you'll need lots of technic gears and worm screws.
In other words, always begin with the materials that you will need to make the legs and arms move and the knees and elbows bend.
Q: Do you have instructions for your mecha?
A: I am currently working on re-building several of my more popular designs in Lego Digital Designer. Instructions will slowly become available over time. Keep checking in!
Q: Will you sell your models to me?
A: Sorry, again I have no intact models, no instructions, and also my lego collection is actually jointly owned between two people: Myself and Solus Maximus from Flickr.
Q: Will you build "X" mecha?
A: I'd love to, but unfortunately right now, as my lego is all in storage at the moment. This doesn't mean that I won't give feedback and participate in life here on MOCpages, but for the time being, the only MOCs you will see from me will be virtual ones, designed in Lego Digital Designer.
