The Milbrick Fire-EMS Department protects the city of Milbrick, just south of Lego Valley. The department consists of five engine companies (4 engines and 1 quint), a truck company, a heavy rescue company, three ambulance companies, and miscellaneous other vehicles. Milbrick Fire-EMS Department provides the 50,000+ citizens in the 26 square mile district with fire and advanced medical coverage. The department responds to well over 60,000 calls per year, both fire and medical related. In 2010, the department is expected to expand to 2 more engine and ambulance companies, following the merger with the Brickside Fire Department. MFED is an ISO-rated Class 1 department.
