I am interested in using LEGO as both a sculpturing and engineering modeling medium. My goal is to achieve a "mind's eye" level of modeling realism within the inherent limits imposed by element discretization and material costs. My primary focus over the past couple of years has been building replicas of famous skyscrapers at a common scale.

The museum is hosting a summer long LEGO event centered around Nathan Sawaya's popular Art of the Brick touring exhibit. In addition, there will be large scale LEGO models of famous Detroit landmarks from Jim Garrett and a LEGO train layout by the Michigan LEGO Train Club.

Unfortunately I am not highly skilled with using LDraw and the lack of official parts needed to replicate many of my models is frustrating. The other big issue is I simply lack the time to create instructions.
In a few instances, fans have taken the initiative and created their own digital models. If you have a digital versions of my models that you would like to share with the world via these pages, email me and I will link to or host the files.
