I can't seem to go anywhere these days without getting some kind of new idea. I'm really trying to capture the salient features of those things I interact with every day. There are a lot more to come. I'm still new at this.
I live in Japan, and really want to express some of the non-traditional, lesser-known aspects of being a foreigner here. Everyone knows or wants to know more about the famous attractions in Japan, like Fujisan, Himejijo, samurai and Gundam Wing. Nobody cares about how cool it is to pay your electricity bill at the 7-11, cars stacked like books in vertical parking towers, or just the sheer pleasure of hot water. I do. I love these things, and I want to share them with you.
I'm also a shameless nerd. Science, history, fantasy fiction, satire, politics, literature, art and culture. I can't get enough. I'm a people junkie, and a wikipedia addict. I love the little things that tend to be ignored, but are so fundamental.
