Most of my construction projects focus on capital ship production. I attempt to use modern naval warships as a basis for my ships. By doing this, I try to impose limits on myself to design a ship class that has both a specific function and role for its respective navy. This limits the mass weaponry that is so prolific to many MOCs out there. I am, in no way, saying that such heavily armed fighters and ships don't look freaking cool, they just (in my opinion) seem a little impractical.
After having reviewed both the Inferno and Sanford, I realise that I fell drastically short of my goals on the Inferno (with her prolific and largely useless gun implacements) and on the Sanford (a missile ship able to carry only 12 missiles and a skimpy crew of 13).
Currently, I am on a building hiatus due to the fact that the real Navy to which I serve has me on an extended deployment for the next year or so. However, the pencil, paper, and cad programs are in full swing with more than one project in the planning stages. Additionally, the next version of the Sanford, the Eagle Centarus was about half finished when I left last November.
So, please take a look at my ships, leave some feedback, and check back now and again.
