Hey, my name is Eli Hays, and, what can I say- like everyone else here, I love legos!
I started building a long time ago...I was maybe 3? I don't remember. I got my first bunch from my mom's friend's son. (Almost confusing...) It was just a bunch of bricks, but I loved them.
I started getting sets soon, and then found out about the "Lego Club." (on a side note, I think they should go back to how they used to be- they put together fun magazines, but now, they are just like 5 pages, unless you subscribe to "brickmaster") I would look through every catalog or magazine I got a hundred times, and sometimes try to build the sets with my peices, or just get ideas.
One of my fondest childhood memories is whenever my mom would come into my room she'd get mad 'cuz there were legos ALL over the floor and she couldn't walk anywhere...
Then I turned...i think maybe 11 or 12, and I barely played legos at all. They just sat and gathered dust.
then about when I turned 15, I picked up a handful of peices, and built some stuff... I was addicted again. Now I've been building whenever I get the chance.
I am yet to get a digital camera to post some of my creations. (In the meantime, I'll try to post things from Lego Digital Designer.(http://ldd.lego.com/))
I wouldn't consider myself a real great builder, but I enjoy my creations. I also have a hard time sticking to colour schemes, but I try sometimes...
OK, now that I've bored you all, I be done.
Oh, and not that it really matters, but I LOVE snowboarding.
