Whether you are a fellow LEGO® fan or have followed the URL on one of my business cards, welcome to my main online LEGO gallery! Here, you can access photos and special information on all of my publicly-disclosed building projects; thanks for visiting, and I hope you enjoy my finished works!
I’m a Christian (I want to credit God for my building inspiration and give Him the glory!), an American, and an adult fan of LEGO (AFOL) who has been building since I was about four. The LEGO hobby, with its potential for building just about anything, has always been one of my interests and has helped shape my knowledge of aesthetics, mechanics, ratios, spatial reasoning, and overall design over the years. While it is certainly a children’s toy, the LEGO brick presents a powerful, artistic medium to work with, in which both form (aesthetics) and function (mechanics) can be seamlessly combined to the builder’s tastes and at almost any scale. I enjoy the unique challenges I face in designing my model replicas and the pleasure I get from sharing my work with others.
I have now developed a set of PDF building instructions for Sting, the sword of Bilbo Baggins! The instructions are packaged on a CD that I am selling on Ebay at this link. If you're interested in building instructions for my other models, please comment or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. (Note: I will not be providing instructions for any of my real-life-based guns. While I used to successfully market building steps for my gun replicas, I decided to cease production due to liability; an experience at a large LEGO fan convention convinced me that my guns’ realism actually presents a danger to those around me, and I don’t want to see anyone get hurt because of my LEGO models.)
Many of my models are also posted on Flickr!.
I always appreciate others' feedback and suggestions, so if you have any ideas on how I can improve my building or what I should build next, please feel free to comment or send me a message!
