Hi, I'm David, but all my friends call me ham. I don't remember why, but I named my XBL and every other account after my nickname; ONE OF HAM.
Divide and Conquer II is up and running, check it out here.
This is the flag of andora, the creature Jörmungandr or the Midgard Serpent seen eating its own tail, circles the land of Midgard, eventually getting so large that it could reach around the whole world and grasp its own tail, terrorizing Midgard in the process. Eventually the God of thunder, Thor, challenged Jörmungandr to a duel. Thor eventually killed Jörmungandr but his poison was so potent, he killed Thor too. Jörmungandr Is on the flag to symbolize that you can never give up in battle, and if you are about to die and you have the chance, to die an honorable death, you have to take the enemy out with you.
The two birds, Huginn and Muninn fly all over midgard, gathering countless amounts of information and bring it back to Odin. They are on the flag to symbolize that Iformation is key to any War, Battle or day to day activity.
The epitaph on the bottom of the flag, "dauði áðr ósœmd" means Death Before Dishonor, Which has kind of turned into a national motto. It means that any andoran would rather kill themselves than give information to the enemy. We also give the same treatment to our enemy POW's, we do not try to extract information and give comfortable housing in an encampment fro captured enemies. We will only try to gain information from defectors, but only by talking, we do not condone torture under any circumstance.

My country, Andora, Is a Socialistic Democratic Republic, kind of like the good ol' USA. There is a founding principle of respect and honor in the country, so much so that "Death Before Dishonor" is on their flag and has become a motto of sorts over the years. The society and culture of Andora is based on the Old Norse. The military hierarchy is exactly like the USA's (mostly because I don't want to take the time to make up a whole new military, and ours seems to work fine, except maybe the army...). Because of the country’s placement in the Arctic the military is very efficient and can operate in extreme climates.
The marines of my nation are very efficient and go through one of the most excruciatingly hard, intense and difficult training program on the world. Within the marine corp. there is a select group that is chosen from the very best of the best, called delta squad. This elite squad is chosen to do missions no one else can do, or accomplish. Only about 11% graduate into this squad, and on average only 1 out of about 10,000 are chosen to test for the squad. You have to hit a target 1.7 miles away with a sniper rifle, thats just basic training. The ones trying to qualify as a sniper have to hit a target the size of a quarter from about 2 miles. You have to survive in the arctic wilderness for 11 days gathering all the food and water you need yourself, and the only gear you can bring is your rife, with one magazine and protective clothing so they dont freeze to death (BTW, the clothing only protects them from frostbite, they still get really cold and are encouraged to skin their kills and use the hide to keep them warm). You do have to be proficiently skilled in at least three martial arts along with the mandatory hand to hand combat classes. We want intelligent, calm officers who can think clearly in the battlefield but also have to ability to kill on a dime if the need be. It's much like US Marine scout sniper school, except its the viking version.

Please excuse the various counters and stuff, statistics and averages are very interesting to me.
