Hello fellow MOCists. I had a page here last year but due to a virus almost everything I posted back then was unfortunately lost. I recovered what I could but most of what I will be posting now is new MOC's created more recently. The majority of my MOC's will fall in the sci-fi genre with a heavy emphasis on mechs and star fighters(my personal favorites)along with whatever else oozes out of my demented little mind. My weapon descriptions will generally follow the Battletech world for all the specs (damage, range, etc.) unless specifically stated otherwise. One thing to note about my MOC's is that I purposefully build them to be both highly playable as well as aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
By the way, for anyone who is wondering, I'm an OFFOL (Old-Fart, in my mind, Fan of LEGO) who does this for the sheer joy of seeing my MOC's come to life and possibly inspiring others to create something even better. If you don't buy that load then I'll just say at least it keeps me out of trouble on a Saturday night!
Feel free to comment and rate as you see fit. For everyone who has been a fan of mine since last year, thank you for the support and for everyone who is new to my work, I hope that you will enjoy them as well!
Well everyone, I entered the 2010 MOC Olympics and unfortunately was eliminated in the second round. So much for fame and fortune, oh woe is me! Thanks again to all of you who supported me this far. It means more than you know!
I'm now moving on to other LEGO projects to see what new inspiration comes my way. I'm also posting a few older Moc's to clean out the garage and start fresh. Once I'm ready I'll create more mechs, and maybe they'll even be good!
On to 2011, It's been an emotional roller coaster ride lately along with the creative juices flowing in and out like the daily tides. Hopefully things will kick into gear, or if someone who cares would be willing to give me a kick in the rear to get me back in gear, I would be most appreciative! I've also decided to try my luck at another big contest, the 2011 MocAthalon even though I must be insane to do so! We'll see what trials and tribulations await me. Well the Mocathalon is over and things didn't go as planned, what a shock.
To be honest I think I need to go on a vacation from LEGO. All I do lately is look at my creations and get disgusted with how they don't measure up to my expectations. I can't even find the desire to build something new to try and please myself or those few loyal friends who were decent enough leave a kind word from time to time. To each of you (you know who you are) I say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Perhaps one day I'll find the passion to build once again but for now it's time to say, until we meet again so long.
