Colonial History
In the year 2335 Earth was in trouble, overpopulation and poverty griped most of continents and the population was still increasing at an alarming rate. In sheer desperation the governments of the major countries of the Earth Britain, the United States of America, Russia, Canada, and France combined reasources and began to search for a system to colonize. The major breakthrough came with the discovery of hyperspace technology, now they could search farther and faster for a habitable system. Around 21 years later they found it. A large system with 12 habitable planets was discovered and Earth imediatly began building colony ships. Once completed the ships were launched and they set a course for the new system named, Colonia.
That was 104 years ago and humanity has come a long way. The citizens in the Colonia system flourised forming an empire. Trade routes were established between the planets and the Colonia and Sol systems. Large fleets of ships were built including the gigantic capitol ships known as Battlestars. However as the Colonies grew they began to make contact with other races in the galaxy most seemed to peacful but some were extermly territorial. But unknown to the people of the colonies a new enemy was about to reveal themselves, one that would test every strength of there resolve, one who would stop at nothing until every colony was destroyed, until every human was dead...
