East Brick Fire and Rescue was established in 1995 to protect the rural area of Brick City. The town currently has 1 engine operating out of Station 1. The city is looking to build another station and order two more rigs to increase protection. In 2004, a wildfire ripped through the town and took out Station 2 and 6 houses. The city helped the town rebuild after that but couldn't get funding to replace the station, so the city moved the rigs and crew to Station 18 in West Brick to cover there.
