I made this little picture and I thought the MOCpages community could appreciate it (even though nobody looks at my homepage anymore). Although perhaps arguably a little unfair I think it does a good job expressing my sentiment towards Lego. What will it look like in another 20 years?
I'm generally not active here anymore. However, I may visit occasionally, and comments on my MOCs are still welcome. In case you're wondering if I have an online presence aside from the one I had here, it's kind of a long story. When I was still active here, I had gotten Smash Brawls and was looking for some friends to play it with over wifi. Around June of 2009 I met a guy here named Jesse Nelms and played it with him. He had a friend named ANT, so I added him. ANT had a friend named DDPIT, so I added him.
When we brawled, DDPIT, ANT, and a friend of theirs named JUS all had taunt comments that said "Team~Pit" and would talk about it and stuff. At first I was wondering what the deal was, and they seemed to be excluding me because I wasn't involved with it. This was kind of annoying since they were like my only friends in that game. DDPIT and I traded Wii numbers and he explained to me via Wii messages what he was trying to do. His goal was to make a group of people called Team Pit that play Smash Brawls together and stuff.
I don't know if you've heard of this phenomenon but this was in fact that stupid "clans" business that kids do when they play online games. I play Monster Hunter Tri and I've seen it there too, it's so pointless and immature. But DDPIT is actually older than me, he was pretty mature about it (in fact he didn't even like to call it a clan). Anyway at the time I didn't know about this "clans" thing, so I decided to help him since he asked me to (plus I didn't like feeling excluded). I made a forum for him, and they went and "recruited" a bunch of people from Youtube.
Eventually the forum got an Xat chat. Over time, everyone started going in the chat instead of the forum, and as more random people started hanging out there, it got less and less Smash Brawls-oriented. Nowadays most of the people who visit it don't even play that game, so it's basically a stupid random chat with a half-dead forum attached to it (but I still visit it frequently anyway). DDPIT, ANT, and JUS have all since left Team Pit. So yeah, there's the story of my online presence so far since leaving MOCpages.
Anyway, don't expect new MOCs from me, but like I said earlier I will still read and maybe respond to comments on my stuff. Thanks for looking!
