I would like to take a minute to thank everyone for their feedback. It amazes me how quickly people start viewing something once it's up.

When you see me mention the set that I used to build a MOC it's almost always a case where I keep the original intact, and build the MOC from multiples of that set. For example, I am fortunate that there is an outlet store near me that has had the Jedi Starfighter kits for about $13, and Jango Fett's Slave I as low as $17, so I have bought multiples of each to get the parts. One of the few exceptions to keeping the kit intact is the TIE Bomber. I bought that one with some MOC's in mind, and it went almost directly to parts.
