My LEGO creations

Hello there! My name is Cody. I have loved LEGOs for as long as I can remember. I went through several LEGO phases: Bionicle, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Star Wars again, Indiana Jones and currently Modular Houses. I remember seeing the Cafe Corner when it first came out and I thought it was cool but expensive and then continued through the catalog to the Star Wars section. Then one day, I saw the Cafe Corner as the diner that Indy and Mutt escape from in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. So I saved up my Christmas money and bought it. As I waited for it to arrive, I designed furniture for the empty interior. I had to rearrange the furniture because the interior was a different shape than I had anticipated. It took me three days to build the set due to school and chores and other interruptions plus my mediocre building skills. About a year and a half later, I saw the Grand Emporium on Brickset.com and I asked my parents to get it for me for my birthday. I built it an about four hours on a Saturday afternoon in the summer. I have been playing with it and the Cafe Corner ever since. Three months after my birthday, the Fire Brigade began to stand out to me more so I asked my mother if I could get it for Christmas this year. She said due to the price it would be all that I would get from them and I was fine with that. Then I devised a plan to get both the Green Grocer AND the Fire Brigade. About three or four years ago, a Limited Edition set called the Hoth Rebel Base or Hoth Echo Base was released. I'm not sure on the name but I know that it has a snowspeeder and the Echo Base blast doors. Anyway, I asked my grandparents to get it for me for Christmas that year but it was discontinued. Still they managed to scourge the internet to get it for me. My plan this year is since they could find a discontinued Star Wars set for cheap, why can't they find a discontinued Green Grocer set for cheap? I know my plan seems a bit weird and mean but I love LEGOs like everybody else on this website so I'm sure everyone can relate. I want to expand my town and those are the two buildings I want right now to do it. But I had a leak in my room a few weeks ago from the rain and the carpet was soaking wet for days. My parents found out that it and the floor are all moldy and it needs to be replaced. They told me that they know what my Christmas present is going to be: new floors. I'm hoping they weren't being serious because I really want that Fire Brigade! I've been obsessing over both sets for the last week and a half! Anyways, please hope for me and I'll keep everybody updated! Thanks for reading!
