Thank you for taking time to visit my page. Feel free to take a look around and take a virtual stroll through all my creations. Always remember to rate and comment! I will accept all critiques and am constantly trying to improve; all feedback even down to the quality of my pictures is appreciated!
Also note that I am a firm believer that the possibilites of the LEGO brick are what makes this art so special. I will try my absolute best to NEVER alter a LEGO piece. But as of late my desire to be realistic has forced me to bring out the eraser and sometimes the knife (against my better judgement). If possible, however, I try to remain purist.
But then the artist arises in me and I sometimes us BrickForge and Brickarms weapons, custom molds and such. I hope you can understand.
But first, I am...
...first and foremost a born again Christian...
...a speaker of Enlish, Latin, and one word of French: "Oui"!
...an avid reader, and a lifelong fan of J.R.R. Tolkein...
...A history buff...
...But a comedian at heart...
You should also probably notice my favorite theme to build in is:
Lord of the Rings
Some of my FAVORITE BUILDERS include:
Ian Spacek: A fantastic builder and a great friend.
Paul Vermeesch: master of the vignette, one of the first people I met on this great website.
Max Pointner: another friend of mine and artist extraordinare.
Michael Kringe: The first person to comment on one of my creations that wasn't a personal friend. Since then he's become a internet pal - not to mention a fellow LOTR fanatic!
Blake Baer : A TFOL (though you'd never know it) who never ceases to amaze!
Nathan Oh: The customization KING - although most of his creations never make it from the basement to the 'pages, he's an amazing builder.
There are so many others I admire on these pages, if I left you out, please don't feel excluded. Any fellow Brother in the Brick is a friend to me. ;)
Finally, I think that even with this whole website we have only scratched the plastic surface of the 'Power of the Brick' . I constantly try to learn creative new ways to showcase LEGOs. If I use your technique, I will always try to do it with a link, in an attempt to lead others along the path towards another great use for the LEGO elements.
I also like converting movies, books, and paintings into the medium of LEGOs. If anyone has any ideas as far as books or movies you want to see in bricks, let me know!
I have been collecting LEGO's as long as I can remember, but have gone thruogh stints of trying to keep all of my sets in pristine condition and never create new things with their pieces. Thank you to the 'fantastic four': Max Pointner, Nathaniel Holman, & Ian Spacek, and Lee Muzzy for introducing me to 'the pages' and convincing me to join the gang.
