"Look at this workstation! What a complete slob..."

Welcome to Saber-Scorpion's LEGO Customs!

Dont' forget to visit my personal website at www.saber-scorpion.com! There are some creations there that are not featured here on my MOCpages site... and vice versa, actually. If you want to contact me personally, the best way to do it is via e-mail at justin@saber-scorpion.com

A little about myself:

I'm a complete nerd and more than a little bit of a social recluse. I prefer to spend my time in a fantasy world. If you want to put a word to it, it's possible I have avoidant personality disorder. Anyway, I was born in 1987 and started building LEGO when I was about five years old, and I haven't stopped since! Nor do I intend to, since because of my personality, I really don't care what other people may think about it. I'm an AFOL and LEGO is my hobby. I'm not the best builder out there, and I'm not really trying to be - I just build because I enjoy it.

I first started posting my creations online around the time that LEGO came out with their official Star Wars line (1998 or so). For this reason, most of my Star Wars creations are among my oldest MOC work, and usually the poorest quality. Later, I moved on to video games, including Mechwarrior 4, Metal Gear Solid, and Halo (in that order). It may be a bit egotistical of me, but I like to think that I contributed more than a little to starting the Halo LEGO craze that has struck MOCpages so hard that now Halo has its own category. I started building LEGO based on video games mainly because I wanted toys of said video games, and there were either none available, or I didn't like the ones that existed. Today I mostly do it just because I enjoy building LEGO so much. Whenever I play a game I really enjoy, I usually feel the urge to make some LEGO for it. But my Halo and MGS models remain my most popular.

I also enjoy building creations based on my own sci-fi universe called Nova Refuge. You can visit the website at www.novarefuge.com, which is largely based largely on LEGO games my brother and sister played when we were kids. I've been building upon this universe my entire life, and I hope that someday it turns into a successful franchise. Please, check it out!

LEGO comics are another passion of mine, as they combine artwork, LEGO, and writing - my three favorite things in the universe! Several of my comics, mostly "Nova Refuge: The Takeover of Mordark" are viewable here on MOCpages. Others can only be found on my website. I now maintain an ongoing webcomic updated several times a week at comics.saber-scorpion.com. Don't forget to check it out!

Anyway, there's my story. Now have a look at my creations, and please leave a review to let me know what you think!
