The Lego Angeles Fire Department was established in 1938 due to a rapid growth in the town's population. It started out with a 1936 Ford Pumper and 12 volunteers. In 1947 the town made the decision that the department should be a full time, paid department. They purchased 2 engines and 1 ladder. They placed the ladder and a engine in the center of the city and the other engine in the suburbs surrounding the northern part of the city.
Today their are 90 firefighters in the city of Lego Angeles and 30 of them are working at any given time. The cities medical services consist of one Ambulance that responds to medical calls with two paramedics. If transport is nessecary, they transport the patient to the nearest hospital. Today their are 3 stations placed strategiacly around Lego Angeles. the department colors are red with a yellow stripe. The lego Angeles Fire department has ten men on each station at all times which is enough to staff an Engine a Truck and a Squad. when all units are on a run, a shift page out is ordered and 10 men from the previous shift are to report to station 51 to man r55, e53 and s56. when station 57 is empty no one is required to report.
