History of the Sphindaran Empire
In the year 2032, astronauts from Earth discovered a vien of a fantastic material, one that could be used to build lighter and faster spacecraft, and to construct a modern hyperdrive. After building many primitive vehicles, a fleet of quality ships were build, and launched beyond the solar system.
But the first Deep Space Explorers were reckless, and woke the fury of a thousand planets. In a response to this threat, the Nations of Earth merged into the United Armies of Earth, or UAE. But even after there was no threat, the leaders were not content. They sent out huge armies and fleets, and conquered much of the Galaxy.
But when new caches of unknown materials or especially advanced technology were discovered, each Nation wanted them for its own. At first, small conflicts broke out, but soon erupted into all-out war. By 3046, little remainded of the once-grand UAE. But several peoples have banded together, to create their own factions.
One such is the Sphindar Empire. It was founded by "Boss", a tactical general in the old UAE, founded in 3107, and originated in the Sphindar system, an old, abandoned fortress of the UAE. After 20 years of constant warfare, the Sphindaran Empire controls the Northeast sector of the Galaxy. It has one major enemy, the Nation of Remanent Forces, or NRF. While the Sphindaran Planets are well-defended, the NRF still poses a threat.
