Dual Personalities
Ian's continuation and my mutilation of the Dawn Forge theme.
About this creation
Two rather different takes on the Dawn forge Theme, by Ian MacDonald and John Moffat.

I suppose we'll start out with Ian's. I was talking about how I was making one and naturally he had to do one better. After one nights work, he came up with this beauty. It features steerable front wheels and two MK III mass drivers.

Front view.

Left view, showing the mudflaps.

Rear of the vehicle, I do love how this turned out.

Right side of the TAV, looking much like the left...

Instead of the traditional narrow windscreen, Ian built in a armored viewing slit, suitable for heavier battle conditions.

The front wheels are indeed steerable, as shown here.

The mass drivers can rotate 180 degrees and are capable of landing up to four rounds on a target at once with precise angling and auto-loading. Thay are also capable of direct fire.

The engine compartment. I made the engine while I was fooling around at Ian's house.

Here we come to my station wagon from hell. To tell you the truth, this doesn't really follow the general design of a TAV, and the gun isn't that big anyway. It just turned out that way. However, this thing Is capable of carrying four soldiers or a large cargo into battle.

I too used a different windscreen than usual, opting for a more truck-like appearance. Actually, I couldn't find my lone narrow one.

Left side. This thing was a pain to make. Ever ten minutes or so those smooth armor plates would fall off, or the whole thing would periodically shatter. I only spent about half the time building this thing.

I know the flash looks bad, but I needed to light up the parts that would have been in shadow.

Thr right side. Perhaps the biggest difference in my TAV to the other ones is that instead of a rotating turret, The rail gun is fixed beside the cock-pit. I'm sorry Brian.

The track pods.

The traditional black hoses.

A close-up(ish) shot of the rail gun.

Who cares if Ian's can steer, mine has a sunroof!

Iīm really impressed, both vehicles are really awesome! Yours looks lets say a bit strange, I donīt like the window, isnīt the same shape like the rest, I think. However yours has awesme details and a great colorsheme. Ianīs tank thing is in my opion maybe even better, I totally love itīs shape weapons and details, but it is not really Dawn Forge themed, I think. However you both can be very proud, thatīs a very nice double you have there.

These look very tough. The heavy machine look is definetly there. I like the hatch over the driver area on the later model. The bulky coverings look good for these both as well. Good work!

I know mine's odd. Truth is, I just don't have that much bley. This thing takes up most of mine, so I just went with the pieces I had.
