The shire Totenfelde (Deathfields)
Totenfelde is one of 9 shires with different emblems, mostly using a lion as symbol, every one has its own count, who lives in the capital city, which has ordinary the same name of the shire. There are 3 exceptions: Capital of Adlersmark, which is named in honor of the old eagle kingdom, is the city Greifenheim, the royal shire in the center is controlled by the king's castle and uses the crown coat, and Nordmark has no main cities.
Totenfelde is a small farmland with declining population and set between deep forests. So farmers, forestmen and also some mine workers living here. Because of its vicinity to the cursed realms of Deadwood in the north, undead invaders often visit the low guarded villages, so many people leaves the shire if they can.
The city Totenfelde is a one-horse town but popular for its pumpkin fields and the famous roadhouse "To the really dead skull".
Count Averoy de decadence is visiting the roadhouse "To the really dead skull" at the border of his city. He is an arrogant man who doesn't interest much in the needs of the citizen. Most time he and his beautiful wife are living inside their big villa, where they are well protected by royal guards while the skeletons of the black army threaten the peasants. Nobody likes him here, but the farmers have to work too much to get annoyed.
While the men are working on the fields, the kids play with the travelling jester, who came with the group of count Averoy. From time to time, you can find an old skeleton from the old Dragon war in he woods here in Totenfelde.
