I just want to let you know how I found out about MOCpages. I think this Audi was how I knew about MOCpages. But that was back in '08. But in the latter months of 2010, I joined because I saw your other cars! BTW I built a Audi R8 a few years ago because I saw this one. But it was a terrible car...so I took it apart about 5 minutes after I finished! :(

hey, umm seeing as im back on the R8, because you did such a great job, and my question is about german cars ... could you try your hand at building a BMW M3 or M5 your creations have inspired everyone here, but still cant get near your work. Thanks for the great compliment! Glad you like it :) I usually get my parts from original LEGO sets, mainly car sets, like the Ferrari FXX/ F430, creator sets and speed racers. Hope that helped.

That's amazing man, I just happen to come across it on google and it made me pull out the old legos!! My collection is pretty outdated though, so if you have time I thought you could let me know where and how you get your parts? I've been working on a large scale camaro and without specific parts it's hard to catch the detail. Your mos def my inspiration for building, hope to see more creations soon!

I think I am going to cry. It's beautiful. I wanted to make a scale 1/17 Audi R8-you beat me to it. (I figured you would) You did an awesome job everywhere. The fact that all the doors including the front compartment open is unthinkable (unless built by you). As you do in all your cars-there is great realistic detail everywhere-like the engine compartment, interior, and great body lines, and details like that. (I could go on forever about your creations)! The best concept from 2008 meet's the best at large scale cars! what could be a better combo! it's like a power hour of cars! in my opinion this is just well made, uncanny are the front leds using that rope is just pure genius! Love this, one thing I love about these cars is when at night the line of lights below the headlight look, creates an interesting look, and you've done extremely well to re-create that, an ingenious way to create that feature, as for the rest of the car well need I say more, an absolute imitation of the real thing. I'm really impressed with your creativeness and ability to scale. I'd say keep up the good work, but I feel there is no need. Your potential will just increase exponentially. pps. The back seems a stud or two too long, but I'd say the rims are just about right. ;) And altogether, after google image search of Audi R8 TDI, you got everything right, to the color. Great accomplishment again.

It seems to be a cool car, and I am sure I know what it looks like now, (just for a little more flattery, your history of building cars is so accurate I now know what an Audi R8 looks like just by your model), however a photo would be nice, just for perspective. This is your best! And its not just because you built my favorite engine series out right now. You actually have an interior on both vehicles that is uber-detailed but not overly busy or hard on the eyes as your previous MOCs. You should build a cigarette boat being pulled by a nice dualie pick-up truck one of these days. It be nice to see how you attack those kinds of lines and curves.

FREAKING EPIC WIN. EPIC WIN, I tell ya. I knew you'd blow our heads off to the moon this LUGnuts challenge! You always do, but this time, what blew my head off so much were the lights. I mean, I would never had thought of that. The final look is just perfect! And how you made the sweet Race TDI, I just faint at the sight of it. Too bad it wasn't gray though. However, I have a complaint. The lights and intake below really are beautifully and indeed exteremely well replicated, but I think they're sitting like a stud too low. No offense, and poeple please don't get angry for expressing my feelings, just take it as my opinion, please. Oh, and by the way, Audi is my favorite car company so this gets an extra YYYYEEEEEHAAA!! from me. When I saw this on flickr 15 minutes ago, it took my breath away. That was from the thumbnail! When I clicked full-size, I almost fainted from oxygen shortage. I hafta say, Firas, you've outdone yourself for the squillionth time. However, maybe you'd take a break from making all this awesome, realistic, magnificent (I'm running out of compliments!!), etc. cars, and make something bad. I told that to Ralph too. I guess there isn't such a thing as making too much of a good thing, and Firas sir, you have proved it very nicely. As they say in Polish, "Nie tak do przodu bo cie z tylu zabraknie." which means in English, roughly translated, "Don't work so much forward, 'cause you'll be missing some behind." I suppose that again, master FIRAS, you have proved yourself a master in car building. As if anyone could doubt that! And I plan to wrap up this introduction to the real review (just kidding, lol!) by saying what I think about some of the car's designs and parts and not bombarding it with the usual "FIRAS!! OMG! I can't believe it! THIS IS A MASTERPIECE!". So I say that The Engine is pretty cool, and the grille tiles there give it a nice touch, even though it's a commonly used part on large-scale engines. And ya, I agree that the lights on the Race version are sweet, though I'll have to look closer to see what you made them out of, lol. btw Dylan should post his LUGnuts entry today :D So I shut my blabbing mouth by saying that this is probably one of my favorite car creations yet! Absolutely amazing! What is so remarkable about your cars is that they are instantly recognizable, which is a very hard thing to do in bricks in this scale. The features of every single car is spot on and the details are excellent executed.

On second look, there is an unbelievable amount of detail on the lights, sides, and engine. Not many builders here can put all that in their models.

Now comes again the moment when I´m thinking how to say what I think of this...very difficlut...super, awesome, perfect, great,... All my MOCs are looking ugly compaired with this.
