This is the new Racing Edition of the 4939.

About this creation

This is my TRUE Racing Edition of the 4939. One of my personal favorites, and most likely the last of the 4939 customs I will post. The RE features many new air intakes...first of all I have removed the foglights in the front bumper and replaced them with an intake. The two windshield wipers and the washer fluid containers have been removed and replaced with a single wiper, to cut down on weight. I have put in side air intakes, but with a new twist. On the rear, I have removed all lights from the bumper, and placed the reverse lights in with the taillights. The new spoiler is large to provide plenty of downforce. The interior is one of the most changed parts of the car. The passenger seat has been completely removed, as well as the nav system. The driver seat has been placed in the center, to provide much more balanced handling. On both sides of the seat there are armrests that also provide structual rigidity. On both sides of the back rest of the seat, there are reinforcement "Pillars" of sorts, that function as rollbars in the event of a rollover.The steering wheel has been mounted closer to the driver. There are two levers, the one on the right is the transmission shifter, and the on left is the E-brake lever, to aid in drifting around turns. There is also a new roof mounted scoop.
