This is an 8x8 stud baseplate vignette I created for the February 2009 AZLUG meeting vignette contest. It depicts me shreddin' the gnar hard on my longboard down a cliffside road here in AZ.
About this creation
 A sigfig of me in longboarding apparell. I've got on my helmet (of course), some knee-pads, and some sliding gloves. I wear elbow pads too but they don't have a printed flesh piece like that yet.

 Sid shot of the vig, minus the minifig. This is the first time I've used the snot road technique, and thought it played out well in such a small area- while being slanted at an angle.
 The highway guardrail was a cute little touch I threw in there too.

 The cactus was one of my favorite aspects of the entire vig. I really thought it added a lot of contrast, and it's a pretty good design.
 The board was my own design and is pretty similar to the board I actually ride. It may be a little taller than me, but in real life my board comes up to almost the top of my head (6ft).
 I've got my big lime green gumball wheels now, ready to hit the streets brah. This wave breaks 24 hours a day, every day, and we're going to be the first to ride it! Hang loose little guppies.
