The forum and basilica were at the centre of all Roman towns. The forum boasted numerous shops and a big open space were people could put out their market stalls. The basilica was the building where the running of the town took place.
The forum and basilica were near the end in my experimental construction of Roman Town buildings and for my town Pagnorvaria. Unfortunately by this stage I had used up most of my stock and was unable to complete a small section of the roof for the forum and complete the market stalls and other furnishings. There’s always next time to complete these details!

This is amazing, as is all the other Roman town stuff (I haven't had a chance to look through the rest of your stuff yet, but I'm sure it's brilliant.)
Had a quick question, my boyfriend loves Legos and loves Greco-Roman history, which is how I stumbled on your creations. I was wondering if you have any instructions for sale for any of your creations? I know he would really love to build any of these!
Thanks for your comments. Like you I came across MOCpages searching for 'Roman Lego' and the rest is history. I would be happy to give you any instructions, unfortunatly I don't have any! If your boy friend wants any tips on building his own MOCs I'm happy to discuss via e-mail - peggyjdb@hotmail.com - James |

Im only 10 I play with lego technic could you recommend some good lego please and where to sell it
please email me:

Thanks for droping me some feedback, I can't tell you how much/many bricks are in this model, but it's a lot! I didn't have the resources to build it as I would like cause I used my bricks in other parts of my 'Roman town'.
What to get? I'm not greatly into technic, I leave that stuff to my brother. I tend to go to the lego shop and buy the pick-a-brick tubs - it's good value but limited, so if your patient the stuff your looking for may come along. Otherwise I use the net - the offical lego web site, ebay and just recently I've looked into bricklink!
Hope that helps.

Very good, i8 love the little circles at the tops of the columns. didn't they have baths too?
They certainly did - I've made a model of a bath house and a few other buildings for my town which I called Pagnorvaria! |

Very impressive! The thing that's always bothered me about the Roman Empire and the Middle Ages is that when the Empire fell, it's as if Europe's IQ dropped back down to 20.
