About this creation
Happy Birthday Classic Space!

The L-337 Planetry Explorer, a neo-retro exploration vehicle.

I have been building a large castle project for some weeks now, but a managed to whip this up after being inspired by the recent classic space hype in honour of the anniversary of the theme. Feels good to post something other than a random comment after so long.

I love this! It combines so many things that make me happy. NASA, Apollo Missions, LEGO, Classic Space Theme. The subject matter of this MOC warms my heart and the build is just awesome! I like the SNOT work and the greebles, but I think the gold noodle star goes to the doors and fold out ladder. Excellent work Mr. Darkspawn.

Totally embarassed by my "classic space" inspired lunar lander of a few months back. Now humbled, I retreat and ask my corner man to cut me after the pounding I just received. Awesome piece of work! Love that space stuff!

A worthy tribute. Nice functionality to go with that traditional look, too. All hail the ol' blue and grey!

Marvelous! I really like this. It looks like some sort of early lander. I like the colour scheme, and the details; greeblies all round! Also like the ladder into the cockpit. Looks good in flying mode too! Happy Birthday Classic space!

Now that is just all sorts of cool! I love all the greebles, they really bring it all together. And then add the interior... I love a good interior shot (pause for snicker). can't wait to see this castle you're building! ~ Chris.

Nice! Probably not too far off from what NASA will use on their future Moon and Mars missions. Those landing legs are sweet! Great job
