This is the S.W.A.T. vehicle currently used by the Lego Land Sheriff's Department.
About this creation
This truck was inspired by the International Navistar 4900 Truck “Bulldog FX®" It has level A9 armor protection on all sides which protects against high power rifles such as: 7.62x39, 5.56x45, .03-06 and 7.62x51 rounds. It is painted in the departments colors of black and white.
A side view of the armored vehicle. It looks a bit plain, so I might slap a police sticker on.
The front vide showing off the head lights and the LED police lights. Agressive looking?
The back view, showing the Bradley IFV styled exiting ramp(which I hope to change to two opening doors), two police lights at the top, two yellow hazard lights, and two brake lights.
A side view with the doors open(Bradley styled again, hope to change to armored doors).
A view of the inside through the back. This was a hard shot since the camera's flash didn't light up the inside, so I had to use a flashlight.
The armored turret with a spotlight and a mounted machine gun which is usually not mounted.
The armored turret the way it is usually used by the LLSD officers.
Open view of the inside of the troop compartment.
The intire S.W.A.T. team excluding the drivers. I couldn't decide on any one body type, but the gray guys with the blue body armor are the coolest. Eventually the whole team will have body armor, I just have to pretend for now =).
Two tools used by the S.W.A.T. team, including a door ram/breaching tool and a armored shield.
Another view.
The guy S.W.A.T. member with the M4(A1) usually has his own vehicle being a slicktop Ford Crwon Victoria.
A last view of the armored S.W.A.T. truck. Hope you liked it!
Updated pictures:
Over all view of the updated S.W.A.T. truck. I added a ram/push bumper on the front for moving vehicles out of the way, knocking down gates, walls, garage doors, etc. and for pulling things down(by tying chain or rope to it).
Side view showing the added "POLICE" sticker.
Upgraded armor package for the turret (you know, incase they go to Iraq any time soon). I made the two side pieces fans so they still offer protection while allowing the officer to see out.
View of the back. I added a 2x1 police tile, two 2x1 fans, and two 2x2 black smooth tiles.
View of the opposite side.
Another view of the armored turret.
Two views from the front on the SWAT truck.
Hope you liked the updated version of the truck.

Awesome! My favorite part is the turret. I could just picture this chasing down some "Latin Kings", their lights blaring blowing cr-p out of the gangsters or performing some tactical strike. |

I've now updated the truck, it has a police sticker on each side, a 2x1 police tile on the back and two 2x2 black smooth tiles and a 2x1 fan on the back. I'll post the updated pics once I get home on Sunday. |

Great to see you posted a new moc! I like the shape it has and the side hatches are a nice touch. But I would think of adding more detail to the side and back hatches though. Anyway, well done! Keep it up!
Do you think a police sticker on each side and a 2x1 or 4x1 police tile on the back would do? |
