About this creation
Here is my first semi real posting in a very long time – life has been beyond crazy and I have been working my butt off – at the clinic, hospital, and at home. However, my Lego room is just about finished and I will show it off shortly.

As for this creation:

So continues the saga of the ongoing conflict in Basmentonia. If you remember at the Gathering the peoples of Basmentonia had come together to develop a plan to stop Baron Dratsab and his evil horde (now punched out to about 4,000).

The dwarves have answered the call, and they march. They march towards battle and likely towards destruction. They expect no less, but to die in battle – as long as the clan is protected. They will fight to the death for their family and their treasure, but they will only go down once they have blackened they eye of the enemy.

Two-hundred and eleven march forward. The heat of the upcoming battle is running hot through their veins. The ground quivers beneath their feet in response to their lust for the battle. Blood will flow and the ground will be fed.

As a note, you can see in the background the gate and towers that I am working on – the towers are constructed from 1x1 round plates and 1x2 plates. The gate is 1x2 bricks. The design is massive to say the least, but I will chew away at it over time.

"hes alive, alive" Welcome back. Nice towers. Once upon a time you said your going to build helms deep for brickfest 08. This motivated me to also be Helms Deep, although not trying to steal any thunder as 100 other people have also built it. Those towers look like something other than the deep now though. I think you may be the first guy crazy enough to go with plates on the curves wall. Ahhh, the agony!!!

this is amazing, but all u really did to set urself up for success is have money. not really anything special, just $500 dollars worth of minifigs. :( i wish i had that much to blow on lego. :( makes me feel bad.

One of the perks of being a doctor, making all that money to spend on minifigs. Great job with the army, i am trying to figure out how you make the giant pillars in the backround though, that techique might come in handy one day.

Glad to have you back, Lee! That army is massive, and those gates are impressive! The towers are nice, but I would like to see more pics of the gate. That is a very interesting design. It looks great!

Nice to see the good doctor posting some stuff. The Dwarven army's looking good (ah, to have the money for a fig collection like that!), and I've seen pics of the army you had at BrickCon, AND those towers in the back are also looking pretty sweet. So now I'm wondering what all of this is adding up to....and I'm very much looking forward to the answer!
