Victorian Lynx Walker
Victory's competition for the Xarkon Fox
About this creation
I suddenly realized I had never put this on MOCpages! Only on the NOVA REFUGE website: http://nova.saber-scorpion.com/

The Lynx is the smallest combat-use walker in the Victorian army. It is fast, agile, and sure-footed, and has enough firepower to hold its own against most foes. This is why Victory uses it a lot in combat situations (as opposed to Xarkon's Fox, which is usually only used on scouting missions).

Enough controls for you? Probably not, right?

The Victorian Lynx vs. the Xarkon Fox! Who would you put your money on?

The Lynx's jump boosters may appear small in comparison with the rest of the vehicle, but it is actually capable of much longer distance flights than most larger walkers.

This small walker's antennas serve a purpose similar to that of the Xarkon Fox's radar dish "ear." They are used for detection and long-distance communication. They also look like the tufts of fur on a Lynx's ears. Duh.

Ever since I discovered how great Bionicle legs were for walkers, I've been experimenting with them for that purpose. This is one design I came up with. It would look better if I owned some of those little bracket pieces in a color besides that burnt orange, but I don't. Hey, just pretend its an oddly-colored mechanical device of some obscure purpose. Most mechanical devices have a few oddly colored pieces on them somewhere.

Like the Fox, the basic design of the Lynx has changed little over the years since I first invented it. I first came up with the basic design years and years ago.

The Lynx's weapon arms are mobile, allowing for pinpoint accuracy at any distance.

Trying... to... stand... on one... leg!

   There! Uh, does this count?

   Cozy like a coffin.

This is one of my favorite walkers built by you. Thanks for posting it on Mocpages, it was nice to see the cockpit, since you didn't post that picture on your website. Since it's an old creation, I can't say I'm blown away, because I've already seen it. :P However, most of your creations are some of my favorite MOCs ever, especially your walkers. I don't know what it is, but I just love all your walkers. So anyways, great work! (I also wanted to say that both my Sith Interceptor and swoop racer cockpits are inspired by you, so thanks. :D)

i don't like it. In my opinion it looks a bit like a child made it. sorry, it's just critical, not insulting. I don't mean it bad

This is a great walker, I've even based my Ducker mech's legs on it, and gave you due credit too.

I really like it! I like the Lynx's shape. It puts a real Power Figure on the Nova Refuge Galaxy, as one of Victories powerful Land vehicles!

Excellent walker. I like the use of the blue windshield for a walker. I never would have thought to use that one. You have a great leg shape that reminds me of a giant elite.

Very nice but one question. You updated your Lair on the 13th but it's has now been 11 days and no update for Nova Refuge why?

It is about time you got around to posting this. Anyway, I don't really like the pit. It looks alot loke the pits off of the airplanes in those old town sets. Those were okay for air plane pits, but for a mech? Otherwise, I like it. Overall good color scheme, good size, and decent firepower. I don't realy approve of the bioncle parts for legs(to me thats just cheating) but you pulled it off alright. Good Moc.

Awsome Design I love how you made the Knee Joints and the Use of the Bionicle legs helps immensly, All i could is suggest is some more dynamic looking guns, your current ones look shrimpy compared to the rest of the mech

Finaly we get to review it...yippie. Seriously now...I love the color scheme. I'm not to fond of the use of Bionicle legs but you did it great...I also love the "one-legged" buisness. Great MOC all around!
