2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4.0 V2 (Working Suspension)
My second version of my Jeep Wrangler, with a real working suspension.
About this creation
This is the second version of my Wrangler. It now has a working suspension. I adapted Apple Pie's suspension idea for a larger scale car, and it works great. (Thanks Apple Pie!) I have also changed the back of the rear fender flares to make them look a little better.

A 3/4 rear view.

A view of the undercarriage.

All of these are views of the suspension's articulation.

it looks good but i think that your choise in suspension is ineffective on a larger vehicle. from what i can see it is rubber banded in the back and unsprung in the front. not good for stability or realism. change front to independent, for stability and ability of going over rocks. check out my hummer that is comming soon.

That is the best jeep i've ever seen. If you can, can you take pictures of it partialy dissassembled. Thanks. (sorry for the spelling errors)

Thank you. Unfortunately it has been almost completely dismantled so I could make my Flechette hatchback. Although if you would like to see the suspension, just check out Apple Pie's "Suspension Innovation" I modified his idea to work on a large scale vehicle.

Quoting Matthew Harned Great work! Cool car, good build. I like the body details. I might recommend larger tires and wheels, but if you don't have any, that's okay, because on my Jeep, I wanted to make it an off-roader, but all I had were Ferrari wheels. So I understand. :) Anyway, great work on the suspension, and please check out my Jeep to see what I did about not having the right wheels. Thanks, -matthew-
Thanks. Although I do have bigger tires, since I wasn't going for an extremely serious off-road look, the next step up on tires, would be rock-crawler-like tires. It's the same with my Baja Burner custom, I did not want the specific rock crawler look. Your Jeep looks nice. The size of the tires isn't overly apparent.
