BAR 1918 {v1}
My colorfull replica of the classic Browning Automatic Rifle from the 1918's. Full sized, and semi-auto!
About this creation

The whole BAR 1918. Sorry about the colors, but please, please don't look at the colors. I think it looks, except for the colors, pretty nice. Am I right?

The carrying handle. Very usefull while walking with it.

And the removable "20 round" magazine. As usually, it's removable.

The very simple mechanism, wich hold eight shots, but it shoots very unruly.

The trigger is pulled right now.

Looking down the working sights.

The ejection port. Sadly enough there isn't any cartridge-looking thing in it.

The standard rubberbands I use for all my rubberband guns.

I don't hook the rubberbands on the end of the barrel. So, I putted a technic axle here, at the end of the "wooden" handgrip, so I can hook them here on.

One rubberband is loaded right now.

The rubberband hooked on the tecnic axle.

The bipod. Pretty simple, but strong also.

The bipod attached on the begin of the gaspipe.

The BAR 1918 mounted on the bipod. The picture is taken in a pretty nice position, isn't it?

FPS with bipod.

FPS without bipod.

My replica of the worldfamous American portable machine gun: The Browning Automatic Rifle. Used by the American soldiers in WW1, WW2 and in the Vietnam war. The gun was very succesfull, because of his power. It fires the powerfull 30-06. bullet, feeded by a 20-round magazine.

But now about my BAR. Yeah, I know, it's colorfull, but I can't do anything about that. I haven't got so many black pieces. But the gun is cool, right? It fires 8 rubberbands in semi-auto, but very unruly. Oh yeah, and instructions for the BAR will not be made. You can figure out the mechanism by yourself. And sorry, no movie.

Wow, this BAR is BA man, it's so cool. I've seen the real thing up close in a museum, it looks no different accept for the color. But I'm not full of certain bricks either.

I give you a 5, its really good, I suggest you to work on the sights a bit because they differ alot from the real BAR, but they are just legos, nice job!

I know I shouldn't focus on the colors, but I just can't help myself. The colors are bad. The gun looks like it should and even works, but the colors are just so bad.

Quoting Marder II Very nice idea you got here JJ, but I think you could improve on it. To me the stock looks way to thin and of course the colors aren't so good but hey, this gun screams for a version 2 don't it? I hope you do another version of this great gun. Nice job.
Yes, the stock is too thin, and I know, a voice in the back of my head (not really) is saying that I need to make a second version. And after I posted my Glock 17 and Thompson M1928, I think I'm going to make one.

Yeah, I know, but maybe I'm going to make a less colored v2. So, stay tuned.

Oh, thanks, and if I will make a v2, I will improve the sights.

Nice job! Don't expect a gun from me for awhile. I'm making some regular MOCs.
