WGH Cleveland 2009 Display
WORLDS GREATEST HOBBY ON TOUR March 14&15 2009, Cleveland, Ohio. This display was 20' x 25' and took 6 club members 8 hours to set up. The boats, firetrucks and news trucks were from my collection to make the crash scene. I have 19 videos that I will provide links to soon.
About this creation

The plane aborted take off after loss of power and slide off the runway. The ARFF trucks responded immediately.

Fire Boat 2 is in route to the scene.

The Firemen spring to action to lend a hand from shore.

Luckily the passengers and crew survived with minor cuts and bruises.

The small airport is well equipped to handle any emergency.

Quoting Edward Devan Very cool! I gotta get a ARFF for my department. And yes, I noticed that its like the Hudson wreck, almost IDENTICTAL!! And around the same time it happened, kinda weird.
Hi, Devan I did a show prior to this one where we did the Mircale om the Hudson. Here is the link http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/98722

Anyone find it weird that a similar plane crash happened in real life about the same time this was posted?

Quoting Geoff Richardson Thanks for showing what a real Lego City looks like!
Thank you for attending the show there in Cleveland. I am friends with the owner of Cincinnati Bricks, and he gets alot of my dollars also. He is also a member of COLTC. We have a big Train display in Columbus this Feb, check our web site for details, coltc.org

When I saw your club was going to have a display at the show, I took my family to see what a real Lego city looked like. For years, I have been working on a Lego set-up that I put together each year at Christmas. We basically empty the living room, set 3/4" plywood down, and set up our "city". It's about 16x8 with roads, downtown, suburban houses, and 2 to 4 trains - the kids limit the track so they can play with the town's people, cars, etc. Anyway, your set-up is great! Are you associated with Cincinnati Bricks? I have bought Lego's from you many times in the past year. If so, I will have to make a point of saying hi next time you guys are up this way! Thanks for showing what a real Lego City looks like! Geoff

Quoting Nicky B Well after Recently been looking for a LUG group somewhere near my home. And I had came across the Central Ohio LEGO Train Club. I am very interested in joining and Might join as a Junior Member soon. I was soon shocked to see that you were a member because I have been a fan of your work for quite sometime now. I have a decent sized collection and have time and Lego to give to the LTC. I'm not sure how active you are on MOCpages but I hope you get to read this comment~Nicky
Hi Nicky, I try and check it on regular bases, to keep up with all the new creations. Your more than welcome to email me if you need more info on the club or my Mocs. Ken

Pay no attention to my opinion, but i think it would be better if the crashed plane had collided with a boat and the boat has started to sink XD
