Jackal Variant
This, my most recent mech, is heavily influenced off of Soren Robert's excellent "Number 4 with a smile". I changed a great many things but since I kept the head and legs mostly the same I think that I'll settle on the term MMOC (mostly-my-own-creation). Credit to Soren Roberts for most of it. Credit to myself for the rest.
About this creation

The Jackal Variant was developed for normal battle situations. With two powerful miniguns that can be used for both light vehichles and AA. In addition it also has two anti-tank guns as well as a heavy machine gun for light infantry.

The Bloodhound Variant is for one purpose and one purpose only. Hunting and wiping out survivors of skirmishes and battles. It uses it's infared scanner to seek out survivors. Once it finds them it does one of two things: 1. If they're out int the open it uses it's missles to destroy them, or 2. If they're hiding in buildings it uses it's flamethrower to flush them out of hiding whereupon it resorts to the first option. It is capable of holding up to 25 missles and is hated vehemently by ground infantry.

The Raven Variant was primarily an accidental creation. It started as a light artillery unit:

Due to the use, the legs were strengthened to absorb the incredible recoil shock that the guns produced. Then one day during a practice run a pilot panicked when the gun control stuck and the two artillery guns continued to turn until they were facing backwards at the ground. He hit the fire button accidentally (a trigger guard has since been included in future models) and launched the mech into the air with the blast. When it landed the reinforced legs held up and caused developers to start thinking. They added a booster pack with maneuvering jets and a sensory package and modified the guns to serve as propulsion units rather than weapons and the Raven Variant recon mech was born.

The Base model.

The base model showcasing all the weapons.

And here we have a little dio because I know how much all you MOCers dig dios. What's actually going on in it? It could be any number of things. You decide.

Thanks for bearing with me on this. Hope you've all enjoyed it. I'd really like to see what all you have to say (including criticism) so please, leave a comment! and once again, credit to Soren Roberts.

Quoting Nowhere man (about Mystransformer) Brilliant! The only way I might improve upon this is possibly finding some way to actually make the mysterion itself unfold. just wishfull thinking on my part because I have one of the smaller collections here on MOCpages I think. Fantastic work. Keep on building ~ Nowhereman
You manage awesomely :) My complete collection of System occupies something around 2/3 of an Ikea paper shopper, nothing more... Plus, it's quite messy :) My skills are not enough to build a transforming cube, for now. maybe someone around here could...

Not at all. But when you credit it, give credit to Soren Roberts. Not me. His mech is the one this is based off of.

Really cool MOC. I have nothing bad to say. Also on another note, I saw down in "News from your Favorite Builders" that you commented on anything related to Metroid Prime asking the same question. Why? (Can you answer on this page or my Samus) ~ Avenger 08

This is great! Even if it's heavily drawn from another's work, it's still a fine MOC in it's own right. The use of artillery guns for flight made me laugh.

That is very cool, I like modular weapons systems for mechs. You might want to try putting a round 1x1 plate in a random trans color right on its face to make it look like it has an eye.

WOOOT! WOOOT! WOOOT! It's about time man! Personally, I was expecting more from you, but I have no room to talk after returning from over 1 month of absence with a mini TTGL. Good job anyway! PS: As soon as my PAB order comes, I will finish this very Izzo'ed out mech I'm working on, and with my new T bars, I'll finally be able to show my full potential, unless I am clueless about some other parts Izzo uses. I'll still have to keep improving at that to reach perfected Izzo level, but you know what I mean.
