Lately, I've noticed that the only decent looking energy swords out there are either:
A) Ugly
or
B) Sliced up
I now present to you; the PURIST ENERGY SWORD!!! It sucks. But hey, it works for you purists out there who seem to be a little slicingupmahplasticophobic. Read on, you might just learn something.

A dissembled energy sword for those of you who can't figure itself out on you own. Seriously, it's only three pieces.
A classic game of Grifball. Sword generally beats hammer, unless I'm missing something. I'm generally the red guy, thus I get owned at Grifball. And I like red. But I absolutely DESPISE the energy sword! Besides, the grav hammer flips charging vehicles, so the only reason to use the sword is because you can't aim. The gravity hammer design is mine, although not necessarily original. In my opinion, my hammer looks cooler than the sword, but cool hammers have been done already, so meh.

[Edit] Shortly after I posted this, I noticed that this design has been tried and done. I also noticed that this is the only sword of this design that didn't have the handle hacked short. So there.

Ironic how the sword is purist but the Chief is not. Oh well. Contrary to what you said, there are purist swords that look great. Check out my creation called "Halo 2 Elites" because it's got one. I am a fellow purist! |

Y'know I find it irritating that this is my most popular creation on MOC pages. I think it's cos it's Halo. Darn halo kiddies... always looking for another way to say "zomggg lolrofl awexome hogg!!!1"... nnnngggg... darn. Okay... I admit. I was planning on chopping the handle short, but I wanted to get this creation in. When I was done, however, I decided that the handle poking out kinda looks like the round things on the side of the hilt (if you squint)... So to this very day, the handle has remained un-desecrated. Yay. |

Ok, I guess. I think its pretty hard to make a decent energy sword without cutting something, but I did it! Some people say it looks more like a beam rifle, but its not that bad. Come check it out if you want. |

Not bad! And i'm not joking, seriously, I have a windshield next to my keyboard ready to be chopped to a masterpiece. Heh. I won't ask you to check out my MOC's since that's what a "hal0 k1dd13" would do, but if you want to see a needler that's not a flame/hinge one, you can check mine out. |
