WIP P-51D Mustang
About this creation

Here is the second WIP I uploaded its the P-51D Mustang. This is actually coming along pretty well. I thought that building a P-51 would be extremely hard but the areas that I have already built weren’t all that hard to do, and all I really have to do to finish it is finish the tail and tail fin, add landing gear landing gear doors, and drop tanks...oh and finish the other half of the right wing =) thanks hope you like what i came up with so far...oh and im not sure if i will leave the invasion stripes on the wings ill just have to see. Maybe comment and tell me what you think...

Quoting Bruno Vaiano Preety good so far! I like the shape of the fuselage and the wings, but as the guy below me said, they donīt fit well in that wing desing. And werenīt the wings supposed to be inclinated? oh, just details anyway :) I like very much all the details in blue (I love blue, and the tecniches you are using in the tail, looks great! Canīt wait to see it finished ;) Bruno
Hey Bruno, thanks for the review. Yeah im pretty sure im going to get rid of the invasion stripes for obvious reasons. And yes the wings should be inclinated but then again the wings should be inclinated just a little bit on pretty much any aircraft you are going to build so anyway thanks again-----David

Looking pretty good so far. I really like that colorway and have thought about remaking my old P-51 that way. I'm not completly sold on your method of doing the invasion stripes though. If they extended all the way to the leading and trailing edges of the wings it would look a lot better, but you'd lose the wing angle you have. Dunno. Maybe label paper and electrical tape? Good luck. Peace - Packie

looks very promising, as for the stripes, they are always cool, but because of the way the wing is built I think it would be better if you took them off. Just my 2 cents, hope to see it finished soon.

Ooh, cant wait for it to finnish. The main prolem is the nose is a little too thick for a P-51. I was building a version, and made a 3-wide nose, which I thought turned out really well. You should experiment around with that, I think it would really help your plane. And, I think you should keep the D-Day stripes, they look good. Good work!
