A working model of an FN P-90 submachine-gun.
About this creation
I built this just to see if I could build a gun which used a hammer to fire. This idea was inspired by Mark Rutland's LRX, although I completely redesigned and shrunk the hammer. Unfortunately it didn't have nearly as much force as I had hoped. Still, it did work. It fired about three metres.
I built a P-90 just because I love the shape of that gun, and it looked quite challenging. I soon found out it was immensely challenging and my supply of black pieces was stretched to the point where practically the whole top half of the gun was made of plates rather than bricks. Still, I was happy with the final result, and delighted at how comfortable it was to hold.
I would like to point out that the magazine is not functional - this gun works by cocking, putting a bullet (a 5-stud-long Technic rod) in manually and firing once.

I've been inundated with requests for instructions recently. Sorry, but not only do I not have time to make instructions, but also the models have usually been dismantled by the time people ask.

Awsome all of these people that make life size Guns must play Counter Strike almost all of them are from counter strike or Halo or Call of Duty or something I like that. The P-90 is a great gun you did it justice. |

You made a P90?!? WOW! Aesthetically, this is VERY impressive... Although I will point out, it's impossible for a P90 to look menacing. I respect this moc very much because I attepted a P90 once [two terrible pics can be found in my Bshelf gallery] and it didn't look half this good.
On the whole, I'd have to say that this gun in terms of looks blows any other firing lego replica out of the water, HANDS-DOWN. Number one with a bullet :). |
