This is a simple battle I made because I was bored... I think It turned out rather nicely. It includes most of my troll army and a few new characters that might apear in my comic!
I tried a few new building techniques as well. The "good guys" (Sir Graham and friends) defend a small wooden wall against a troll attack.
Here are some basic views of the battle.
Here is Sir Graham fighting with a troll. Notice his new clothing- a winter cloak! I will show more pictures of it at the end.
Here is Sir Edward as he hurries to the battle along with some Crown soldiers.
Here is a new character- The Unicorn Knight. I haven't come up with a name for him yet so if you have any suggestions, you can put them in a comment! :)
This picture is to show the trench in front of the small palisade wall.
This is the wall without anyone around it. I wanted it small enough that the figs could fight over it.
Here are some action scenes! Sir Graham's elf friend shoots a troll with his bow! Again, if anyone has name suggestions, please leave them in a comment.
Here, a warrior peasant stabs a troll with his spear.
Here are the crown soldiers operating the catapult.
I used a clear rod from the Star Wars sets to make the rock appear flying. Then I snapped the fire pieces together and trailed them behind the rock. I really like the look of the flying rock, it adds alot to the scene, I think.
Here is an bird's eye view of the battle.
Now I have some pictures of the minifigures! From left to right: Sir Graham, Sir Edward, a Crown soldier sergeant, Unicorn Knight, Unicorn soldier, Elf friend, Peasant warrior.
Here's a pic of the new characters. I really like the look of the Unicorn soldier. I might buy some more supplies from Bricklink to make more of them. I used a Viking torso, dark green legs, and a regular Crownie Helmet. The shield I made myself. It has Rohan shield decals on the Viking shield.
Here is Sir Graham with his new winter cloak. I cut the cloak from spare fabric I found lying around the house. It has holes for the arms as well as the neck. Sir Graham needs to keep warm during the winter or he might catch a cold. Brrr!
One last picture of the whole thing!
Thanks for visiting guys! Please rate and comment! Don't forget to leave name suggestions if you want!!!
Great job on the fire effect! I like the wall too, it's always great to branch out. Interesting cloak too. I think for some good elf names you could read the first part of The Silmarilleon. (lots of elves in there) I list a couple of the names; Elwe, Feanor, Fingolfin, Maeglin, and Gil-galad. As for the name of the unicorn knight I'm also gonna refer to Tolkien, Turin.
