The Variable Function (Sentient) War Machine Mark One, at your service. But not really, because it thinks for itself.
About this creation
Good morning, afternoon, or evening, viewer. I'm skipping my opening ramble. Onto the MOC, because I just realized all I've had to eat today is a bowl of goldfish. I'm hungry...
Anways, here is the Variable Function (Sentient) War Machine. THe name doesn't make all that much sense, because it's either a war machine (the word droid doesn't belong in the COP if you ask me, and robot sounds to... simple) or it's a variable function machine. But it sounds cool. I have a habit of making all the machines I make (my Osprey fighter and Centurion droid) sentient. Maybe it's because of Battlestar Galactica. The rebel cylons gave their centurion's the ability to think, and when the Centurion's found out what the bad cylons were doing to their raider cousins... uprising. It was cute. Even cuter was when the rebel centurion's helped the colonial humans fight the bad cylons...
Anyways again. I built this in about two hours. I really had nothing better to do (except eat dinner, which I haven't and it's 8 PM here). He's based on Grievous, as the hunched poster demonstrates, and the Cylon Centurion, as the body kind of demonstrates. The head is my own origin (I'm proud of it, but it's too thin. adding plates makes it look too fat though...) My only problem with this guy is that he is too big. I need to make him only about 8 feet tall to a minifig, not 13.
This machine is very expensive to make (as in it cost the Thyrendi goverment more money to create than it did for Tarsis to build two Hades-class ships). There is only one in existance, and he is dangerously close to going rogue. That's what happen when you give machines the blessing of free will. VF-S 1, or VARION Prime, as he is called, fights for the COP only when needed, using his extraoridinary talents to combat the fledgling UNE.

Bad@$$.

Heroic pose!
I plan on working on this guy over the weekend, but school returns after that, so it's back to my MOC every 2 weeks schedule...
But tomorow morning, expect to see a custom (not mod, custom) Hyena Droid, and the afternoon, expect to see a COP tank. Like on of Ian's.
