After a lot of procrastinating I finally decided to work on my Nu-class attack shuttle and fix a few things. The first thing I did was change the color of the front door from light grey to white to match the rest of the ship. The cheek guns are a bit larger than they use to be, It dosent make the head look quite so large compared to the body. The Wings are also a tad larger and more sturdy when folding up into landing mode. Speaking of which the display stand was made to resemble the landing gear, however they don't retract like the "real thing".
The most dissapointing realization is that I can't but in an interior! I made a removable panel ( seen in photo 5 ) to gaiin access to the inside but remembered I didn't plan on having an interior when I started on this model. Most of the inside is bracing to hol it together I'd have to tear it appart and start over again. Mabye in the future perhaps. Anywho enjoy the recent modifications! (clone inserted for scale)
No other way to describe but = "Maximum respect!". You got exactly what I am looking for. I was so devastated when the official set was released -> a total "let-down". Don't mind if I steal this from you in the future... not without due credit of course. If only I can get the instruction hehe...(though I myself have a bad habit of not recording my MOC steps). Again, thanks for pics - more of the exploded / cross section pictures of the head fuselage perhaps? ;-)
