Stay with me, guys! Figgy's Fashion Factory (usually found between SNOT Topic and Bricktoria's Secret) is the place to find the latest fashions for 'figs, and it's the scene of my latest humor MOC.
About this creation
Reason #1 - My heart just skips a beat when I hear those magical words, "Let's stop in here for a minute!" Oh, the sound of plastic zipping through a reader makes me need my inhaler!
Reason #2 - I love browsing!
Reason #3 - Browsing is even better when it's shoes!
Reason $4 - Everyone knows browsing for pants is the best!
Reason #5 - I just love the way she says, "It'll only take a minute to try these on."
Reason #6 - It's so much fun when security starts zooming in on me with those little cameras. I even know what they're saying: "Alert! We have a fashion emergency in the fitting room!" It's so great to be noticed! Hi guys!
Reason #6 continued - Imagine my fun at being hustled out of the store by the fashion police. I'm making new friends today!
Reason #7 - What a suprise! My wife called Oprah, for me to be on her next episode of "Dream Team Extreme - Fashion Makeovers: the Lost Causes." I get to be on TV!
Reason #8 - I love that when my paranoia sets in and I bolt, everyone chases me! Look, even the mannequins have joined the fun!
Reason #9 - It's awesome to wake up covered in drool and all sweaty. Now that my dreams are getting strange again, I get to go back to visit that nice doctor!
Reason #10, and the only reason I will ever go shopping - If I've been a good boy, I get a special treat!
I have no clue where the idea for this MOC came from. It may have been a conversation with my brother, Chris. I think it went like this: "Hey, I've been thinking about building a clothing store, like in a mall." "Uh-huh." I think I said the first part, and Chris said the second part.
Now I need to clear up a couple of misconceptions this MOC may cause. Here are the facts:
Fact #1 - My wife does not subject me to the horror of shopping. She is very kind to me, and does all of our shopping herself. Yes, that includes my clothes too. I feel very lucky.
Fact #2 - No one has ever bought me Legos just for going shopping with them. Hopefully, this MOC will show them the error of their ways.
Credit for part of the chair design (in the fitting room) goes to Michael Jasper .
Lastly, photo credit is to my wife, Nichole. She braved biting cold, antsy children, a fever, and ten wolverines escaped from the neighbor's house to take these pictures for me. Thanks honey - you are so the best!
Hehe too recognizable ;)
I'll deal with my wife's shopping sprees if we can go into the toy store or Lego store.
Once I made the mistake of agreeing to join in on one of the "shopping marathons" my wife and my sister go on together. Never again though, no Lego is worth that kind of torture. 9 am to 9 pm all they do is shopping...

You ARE lucky. It goes the exact opposite way in my house. My wife doesn't know HOW to go shopping by herself and therefor drags me EVERYWHERE with her.
I think in my case she decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Consider being more childish...
In all seriousness, what would we be without our wives? I would be a poor, helpless, slobbering fool, begging for pity on a street corner somewhere.
You ARE lucky. It goes the exact opposite way in my house. My wife doesn't know HOW to go shopping by herself and therefor drags me EVERYWHERE with her. And if I even LOOK at the LEGO store, I get the "don't even think about it" look. Consider yourself among the lucky ones my friend. Great build too by the way! the amount of details here is amazing. Nice one! ~ Chris.
