The Sears Tower was once the largest skyscraper ever built, but now settles for third. At 1,454 feet, it is actually nine buildings in one! Built in 1974 by Skidmore, Owings& Merrill. Its made out of steel, aluminum, and glass, the Sears company nearly went bankrupt on completion. And Sears never recovered. It is looked at as an engineering marvel, and both my parents, and an uncle and two aunts worked there, and a great uncle who signed the 100th girder. My parents both say that on very windy days, the building will sway. It is in Chicago, Il. Sorry about the colors, I ran out of black pieces, and WILL NEVER EVER take apart the Black Pearl!
