Full Colored '73 nitro supercharged Ford Mustang Mach 1 Mod
This is a simply assembled Lego Technic Ford Mustang. During the time I built it, I didn't have enough parts in the same color. Still, I collected all the needed parts and built the Ford Mustang, just to practise my skills.
About this creation

While lots of Ford Mustangs are driven by a V8 engine, my Mustang contains a V10 motor. I mainly used parts from the sets 8466 (Explorer), 8448 (super sportscar) and 8880 (super sportscar). I also used miscellaneous parts from other Lego sets I already had.

Actually this is not my first build Ford Mustang model, it's my third. The first one I built in 2003. It was way to heavy and I frequently cut fingers while performing crash tests. The body was too heavy and the driving was disastrous. Many times, the wheels separated themselves from the suspension due to too much friction.

The second model I built in 2004. The overall design was pretty, but still it was too heavy. I stripped and stored it.

This third version is both well designed and it isn't too heavy, compared to the first and second. The suspension is very steady and it drives (rolls) very smooth, like a real seventies Mustang would.

I feel pretty sorry about stripping this model apart, but I still remember the "recipe" for building a Ford Mustang.

Mmm... My favourite car. You captured the spirt of it well, espcially in the side profile. I like the tail lights. Well done
