About this creation
I haven't been spending as much time as I would like building this. Although, it seems sometimes that slow-builds turn out better. Its starting to look like this project is going to take longer than originally intended.

Nevertheless, I think enough progress has been made for an update!

The tower base connection is completed.

The rocks are basically done now as are the ramps to the entrances. This took longer than I expected because I want things to look more or less clean when finished. The original stronghold had a lot of angles that caused gaps. Looks fine from far away, and probably more realistic, but not what I'm after.

Hopefully by the end of the week I'll have the entrance and side supports finished. I have the design done (which is the hard part). Now its just a matter of doing the work.

I decided that green would look better with the waterfall... The trees are eventually going to be about twice the size. These are just some staging items as I'm trying to get a feel for things.

I finished this side yesterday.

Comments and suggestions are always appreciated.

Looking terrific, Professor! The structural work seems to be coming along nicely, and the rock elements are looking good in contrast with the castle walls (I so need to invest in more drk bley one of these days!). I also love all of the color that you've got going on. Can't wait to see the final outcome. Thanks for the update!

Wow! I hadn't looked in on this since the first journal entry (I know...I'm bad). Seriously though...wow. You have made a ton of progress and this is really coming together nicely. I love the beach-to-water shading on the baseplate. It looks so realistic. Keep it up!

I'm having trouble finding good ways to build the giant wooden rabbit. It was a rabbit, right? Anyway, besides that, construction's coming along pretty well. When it's ready and uploaded, you'll be the first I tell.

Sure is coming along nicely. I too vote for more cow poop. Once my cousin pushed his younger brother out of our grampa's barn's hay loft onto a huge pile of cow poop. I don't know which one cried harder, the one who fell or the one who was spanked for the pushing. Other than needing a bath the young cousin was ok. My brother and I laughed and laughed. Ever since then I have thought fondly of the earthy brown pies. see ya. garth

Please tell me you're going to add a cow chip tossing area on that one side. Yeah, can you tell I'm running out witty comments for this thing. I really love what you've done with the place... I'll just go sit in detention with Kelso now. Keep us updated! ~ Chris.
