This is model after the Lighthouse in my village, Urk.

The first picture was a early version. The second one is much more updated. Makes a lot less noise.

Yes, after this one it was obvious wasn't it?
It's a lighthouse indeed. This is the top.

This is the internal structure which will turn the 'mirror'.
The rpm are a little fast for the the real thing, but it looks nice.

Here is a little video showing the inner work.

After the inner work, it seemed nice to build a little (well not that little) detail, a Dutch flag. Just like the real thing, it's rather large. If the flags waves in the wind, the Lighthouse is open for public. Only on special days, such as Queensday and "Day of Urk" (A special saturday to remember all the people in town of our culture).

Here you can see the lamp shining in the dark. I was surprised about the amount of light comes from those old 9v lamps.

Hey Ruben, Heel erg mooi gemaakt, ik zag het bij de speelgoedwinkel voor het raam. Ik was erg verrast toen ik zag dat jij het had gemaakt. Ik vind het echt supergoed. groetjes je nicht
