Since a very long time, I wanted to do a MOC which looks like a mechanical dinosaur, or even better, a Zoid. This one is my first try, but I think it's not too bad. The head, legs and tail are articulated and the main gun too. Hope you'll like it :-D
About this creation

Long ago and far away in a different age
When I was a dumb young guy

Fossilized photos of my life then
Illustrate what an easy prey I must have been

Standing in the sun, idiot savant
Something like a monument
I'm a dinosaur, somebody is digging my bones

Ignorance has alway been something I excel in
Followed by naivete and pride

Doesn't take a scientist to see how
Any clever predator could have a piece of me

Standing in the sun, idiot savant
Something like a monument
I'm a dinosaur, somebody is digging my bones

When I look back on the past
It's a wonder I'm not yet extinct

All the mistakes and bad judgements I made
Nearly pushed me to the brink

It doesnt pay to be too nice
It's the one thing I have learned

Still, I made my fossil bed
Now I toss and turn

I'm a dinosaur, somebody is digging my bones

Captions > Lyrics from the song "Dinosaur" , by King Crimson (my favorite band).

Quoting Joel Szasz The body shape reminds me a bit of Brachios. I don't know if that was your intention, but it most certainly isn't a bad thing; I love my Brachios, he has a nice, sturdy design. I also like the detailing that you put on the tail. The lyrics to that song that you used though seems to better describe Hidocker, which is among the first Zoids, and according to the Battle Story, while it was considered cutting edge at it's creation, was quickly rendered obsolete by later Zoids. When compared to the much bigger and more advanced Ultra Saurus, Hidocker is a dinosaur in every sense of the word indeed. However, this guy is way better armored compared to Hidocker, which are more like skeletons in comparison, but then, that is what the first of the Zoids looked like. Anyways, it is always nice to see other people who still appreciate these mechanical beasts. :)
Thanks, and sorry for the very late answer ! You seems to know Zoids very well ! I must say that if I wasn't so much in Lego (a pricey hobby), I would have been a Zoid Collector. I've got something like 30 Zoids from the European line of the 80's, including the european Gojulas, and Redhorn. They really rocks, but unfortunately, a Zoid collection cost too much and take a lot of place, so mine are at my parent's house and I can't collect new ones by lack of money... Thanks again for the comment :-)

Oh my god! The giant girafe is going to eat us all! Run while it´s still time! (Well, I couldn´t resist an old Sci-Fi movie caption) Awesome. It really looks mechanical, but at the same time, a lot more organic than those Star Wars Walkers for example. I belive It´s a nice idea to make a Moc based on a Music...Another Brick in the Wall, here you go! Or maybe Civil war...Well, very nice Moc! (what music you prefer from those 2?) Bruno

Formidable! D'habitude, tu ne fais jamais de Lego articulé parce que ce sont surtout des vaisseaux, mais là...c'est carrément génial! Franchement, le dinosaure Zoid articulé des jambes, de la tête et du canon, c'est....fantastique!! Vraiment, BRAVO, Zorg Master! ;D
