QRN 2837 - new livery QR 2800 series loco.
About this creation
This is my version of QRN 2837, one of the first QR 2800 series train to be repainted for Queensland Rail, Australia. I really liked the challenge of the tear drop shape for this train, as well as using the limited pallette of dark red elements. It was built in collaboration with Peter Parsons whereby I made the CAD designs and instructions and he provided the images and helped refined it from the brick built design. A LOT of images were exchanged.

Features:
- Tear drop on cab
- Dark red accenting on roof

Now being a member of the Brisbane Lego Train Group and seeing Peter Parsons work it is a great base model, i started with your instructions and now ive lengthend mine and added QRN logos to the side and the front, Peters QRN coal hoppers are the best rolling stock for that train

It does look a little bit boxy, but that is what LEGO is like. Still looks very cool. Would give it 19 out of 20.
