People say "the real meaning", yet do not truly believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins as the perfect man (while still 100% God) and then rose again three days later, defeating death for all mankind so that we can be free from sin... as you have so vividly depicted here. Thanks guys. @Gringat: Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus, which is what this represents. I would have put Jesus on the cross in memorium of Good Friday, but I wanted a more positive message, that is, the resrrection. Note the lack of the crown of thorns, and the yellow aura/halo around his head - thus representing the risen Christ, not the dead or dying Christ.

Once I saw a sign outside Somerfield last year. It said: "Buy Easter Eggs to Celebrate the Birth of Jesus Christ!!!!!" Deary Deary me... This is both a very good moc and shows a great message this Easter. The only thing I don't understand is why they don't have these kinds of Mocs for MOTD on Easter. Happy Easter!
