This is a telephone I made that really works. I bought a cheap phone and gutted it. I then built a LEGO casing that enclosed all the phone parts. I don't really use it much, it's much more of a novelty item!
The buttons were made on my computer, printed out and are stuck on with two-sided tape. This model has been crushed...
