As the name says, the library of Kennemerburg. Built in 1788, founded by Goethe himself!
About this creation
The largest, and only library of Kennemerburg. Situated at Goethe Square 2
(No. 1 is the restaurant). Based on absolutely nothing! I just started building and this appeared..
Front view of the "towers" and the library façade.
A little higher view of the square.
View from the "Breedstraat". "Man! Minifig view is LOW..."
As if a library wasn't enough, Goethe also placed a statue of himself!
The bicycle standard in front of one of the towers.
Another view at the entrance..
"Enough looking, let's go inside!"
The main desk: For the renting and returning of books.
The old (dusty) bookcases. The small one at the front contains childrens' books...
The reading corner. Very comfortable, but also very quiet. Smetimes even too quiet...
The "Old book" case. Contains all the antique books the library doesn't have for rent.
